and the importance of being yourself, and liking yourself without envy of others . . .
Not all God's birds can be eagles
so I'm proud to be a crow.
And though the eagle flies higher than most
it's all right that I fly below.They say eagles are a hearty breed
but, I'm proud to be a crow.
One day his time will come to an end
and like other birds, must go.The spirit land that dwells above
counts its kinds, I know.
It always has plenty of eagles around
but it also needs some crows!
