Programs

Reedy Chapel offers several opportunities for fellowship:

  • Missionary Society: The women of the church marshall their talents to serve the extended communities in our charge: Galveston, The Gulf Coast area, the Texas Annual Conference, the State of Texas, and the Overseas AME Church.
  • Young People's Department: Operated by the Missionary Society, our youth are empowered to make effective change and perform community service. Vital skills of leadership, teamwork, communication, and goal-setting are taught.
  • Sons of Allen:This men's fellowship addresses the issue of Christian male leadership, strengthening the home, resistance to worldly lifestyles, and offering service from the Church.
  • The Brotherhood: The young men of the church are mentored by the Sons of Allen, working in conjunction with the YPD.
